ABOUT DISTRICT
The Tamilnadu Goverment vide its G.o.(Ms).No.796, Revenue and Disaster Management Dept., dated 28.12.2020, has orderd to bifurcate the existing Nagapattinam district in to Nagapattinam and Mayiladuthurai District and accordingly the Mayiladuthurai has been newly formed as 38th district of Tamilnadu with effect from 28-12-2020.
Mayiladuthurai district consist of two Revenue Divisions viz.
